- Who/What inspired you to start your craft?
I started making earrings and cell phone charms for a Girl Scout fundraiser several years ago and it has taken off from there! My friends and family encouraged me to start selling at craft shows so I started with one during the holidays and it has taken off since then.
- How did you get started on Etsy?
I've always equated Etsy with handmade and decided to give online selling a try. I love having my shop and the Etsy community is wonderful! I now have the ability to showcase my jewelry to people everywhere!
- What's you favorite item in your shop and why?
My favorite item is the Thirty-One inspired charm necklace because it's my biggest seller! I've sold at least 40 of them and most Thirty-One Directors order them in quantities of 6 or more!
- What do you do in your downtime?
During the summertime I get out on the weekends and drive my little Miata convertible to the beach. Winter restricts outside activity here in NH so I do a lot of baking! I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
- What's a fun fact you want to share about you?
Besides making jewelry, I also make cakes, cookies, and cupcakes! I am also a 6 time local gingerbread house contest winner!
- Tell us a little about yourself.
My Etsy shop is currently my hobby and my hope is to build my business to be able to provide part time income for when I retire. Lucky for me I have 10 years to reach this goal! My day job is working as a Financial Aid Assistant at the University of NH. I am happily married to Kenneth and have a 17 year old daughter Kelsey. I love to chat! If you'll listen, I will talk about my family, dog, jewelry, cakes, gingerbread, etc!
