What/Who inspired you to start your craft?

I was inspired to start crafting when I was very young. I always gravitated towards coloring and drawing and constructing things with my hands. I used to always make jewelry for fun and experiment with how things looked. A few years back, one of my friends had a piece of Citrine that she thought was super cool and I said to her "I bet I can make that into a necklace if you want!" I wire wrapped it, and she LOVED IT. I was so thrilled with her reaction that I decided to really try and branch out to make more things and learn new techniques.

How did you get started on Etsy?

I got started on Etsy when I first went on google for something and saw that this was a pretty awesome website! I opened up my shop in 2011, but have only started adding items for sale in the past few weeks. I was trying to concentrate on doing craft fairs and such, but I have decided to see if more people outside of where I live would enjoy my creations as well! I am taking a leap of faith and trying to see if I can make selling my creations as a full time job since I was recently laid off from my corporate banking career. I deeply appreciate any and all support I receive as it is one more step to making my dreams come true!!

What's your favorite item in your shop and why?

My favorite item in my shop right now is the wire wrapped Moonstone! I absolutely love Moonstone because it looks different depending on how you look at it, teaching you to not always take things at face value and try a different perspective once and a while.

What do you like to do in your downtime?

In my downtime I like to experiment with making different kinds of crafts and jewelry. I also LOVE to listen to music and play with my dogs :)

What's a fun fact you want to share about yourself?

A fun fact about myself is that I'm the only child!

A bit more about me..I love metal music and have a very eclectic taste in jewelry and crafts. I love all things fantasy and my favorite animal is a Dragon!
